Covid-19 Update from La Joya Area Federal Credit UnionDear La Joya Area Federal Credit Union Member,
As the world and our nation try to grasp the magnitude of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we, at the La Joya Area Federal Credit Union, remain vigilant to the warnings issued by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), along with the recommendations from our federal, state and local officials. It is because of this vigilance, and the pursuance of TAC §91.5001, we will be closing our lobbies and operate on a drive-thru only basis beginning Thursday, March 19 until further notice. We recognize the inconvenience this may cause, but the LJAFCU Board of Directors, along with our administration team, feel that the health and well-being of our staff and members are of the upmost importance during this global pandemic.
Please rest assured that you will still have all the ability to access all services available within our online and mobile banking platforms. Our staff will also be available to answer and fulfill your financial needs through our phone services available during regular business hours by calling (956) 585-6207 or (877) 585-6207.
In addition to using our phone services, you can utilize our mobile banking, through our La Joya Area Federal Credit Union App. There you can:
- Transfer funds
- Make Loan Payments
- Deposit Checks
- Pay Bills
- Apply for Loans
As the rest of the federal, state and local entities combat this pandemic, we too, are in unchartered waters and are doing our very best to continue to serve you with the quality customer service you are used to and deserve, but also making sure our employees and members are safe and remain healthy. Because of these reasons, we ask that you be patient as we tackle this global issue together. We encourage all members to heed the warnings from our government officials and take any necessary precautions to limit the spread of the virus. We thank you for choosing La Joya Area Federal Credit Union as your financial institution of choice, and we look forward to overcoming this worldwide pandemic together.
